New Traffic Diversion on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Announced by FRSC

In light of the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has recently implemented a new traffic diversion.

The FRSC’s Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, released a statement on Sunday informing the public about the diversion.

According to the statement, the traffic diversion affects the section of the expressway that connects at New Garage in Lagos. Specifically, the traffic coming from Isheri Olowora and intending to proceed through River Valley Estate to access the expressway towards Lagos has been redirected. These vehicles are now required to pass through Babcock College, which is located opposite the Enyo filling station, in order to connect with the expressway and continue their journey into Lagos.

“Motorists could pass through Ojodu and make a U-turn in front of FRSC Ojodu to link the expressways at BRT Bus-stop.

“FRSC Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu while directing the FRSC Commands along the corridor to ensure minimum hardship on behalf of commuters also enjoins the motoring public along the route to exercise maximum patience and cooperate with the law enforcement agencies along the said routes,” the statement read.
