FRSC explains the reasons behind the return of N27m to families of crash victims
The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dauda Ali Biu, has stated that the return of over N27 million to the families of crash victims was a demonstration of the Corps’ professionalism and integrity in carrying out its duties. The victims were involved in a fatal auto crash in Ipetu Ijesha, Oriade local government of Osun State, where six lives were lost, and the recovered money was witnessed by various authorities. Biu expressed his satisfaction with the good conduct and honesty exhibited by the personnel, commending the patrol teams of Osun State Sector command for their patriotism, efficiency, and professionalism in returning the money. He also urged other officers to emulate their good deeds, stressing the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations to avoid such accidents in the future. The FRSC is committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property on the roads.
