The military remains committed to its campaign against insurgents and ongoing operations against criminals throughout the country. Troops continue to search for terrorists in their hideouts and execute targeted offensives to dismantle their operations.

During the focused week, the troops carried out ambushes, raids, fighting patrols, and other strategic actions against the terrorists. As a result, 43 terrorists were neutralized, and 115 individuals were arrested. The military also recovered a significant amount of weapons and ammunition, including 11 AK-47 rifles, one FN rifle, two pump-action guns, eight locally fabricated guns, 11 Dane guns, two locally fabricated pistols, and various other firearms.

In addition to the weapons, the troops seized explosive devices, ammunition, magazines, communication devices, vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and a substantial amount of cash.
