A team of Nigerian Army security operatives has successfully eliminated a wanted notorious bandit known as Mai-Nasara in the Sangeko forest located in Kebbi State.

Additionally, the team apprehended five other individuals suspected to be members of the same criminal gang.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, shared this information in a statement released in Birnin Kebbi. The statement quoted Alhaji AbdulRahman Usman, the Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, who acknowledged the achievement.

Usman commended the courageous efforts of the security personnel in combating crime and criminal activities in the state, particularly in the southern region of Kebbi. He urged the public to provide the necessary support and cooperation to ensure the success of these security operations.

“Your support and cooperation are crucial for the security agencies to accomplish their objective of eradicating criminals and restoring peace and normalcy in our land,” Usman stated. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and called on people to assist the security agencies in every possible way, including providing credible intelligence for successful operations.
