Petroleum Task Force Closes Filling Station in Jigawa

The chairman of the petroleum task force, Col. Muhammad Alhassan (rtd), announced the closure of a filling station in Jigawa during an inspection conducted by the team.

The task force, appointed by Governor Umar Namadi, was tasked with overseeing the operations of filling stations, particularly during challenging times.

During the inspection, Alhassan revealed that the committee had closed down the IMG filling station for shortchanging customers by withholding 1.5 liters in every 10 liters of fuel.

He emphasized the committee’s dedication to safeguarding the rights of customers and ensuring fair practices in the petroleum sector.

In addition, the chairman urged filling station owners to maintain integrity in their business operations and emphasized the importance of customer confidence by upholding ethical standards.

Alhassan concluded by advising the owners to have a sense of reverence for Almighty Allah and to maintain a hygienic and trustworthy environment for their customers.
