Okafor warns that the LP crisis could jeopardize Peter Obi’s chances in the presidential election.

Callistus Okafor, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Labour Party, has expressed concerns about the ongoing crisis within the party.

Okafor warned  that it could have a negative impact on Peter Obi’s case at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.

Okafor urged Obi and the party leadership to take swift action to resolve the crisis and prevent it from damaging the party’s credibility.

He also criticized the delegation of incompetent people to handle the crisis, which he believes has led to the current situation.

Okafor emphasized the importance of party unity and warned that further infighting could lead to irreparable damage and jeopardize the party’s chances in the upcoming legal battle.

The Labour Party has been in crisis since the suspension of Abure, with members divided over his reinstatement or permanent removal. Okafor’s warning highlights the need for all party members to work together towards a common goal.
