Controversial Twitter personality Daniel Regha has recently taken to the X-platform to criticize Peter Obi for his decision to travel to Ivory Coast to watch the Super Eagles play.

Regha expressed his view that Peter Obi’s trip to Ivory Coast was unnecessary. He questioned why Obi would choose to travel such a distance to watch a football match while Nigeria is currently facing a crisis, including the troubled state of Anambra.

Regha further revealed his belief that public figures present at the stadium should primarily be entertainers and influencers, rather than politicians who should be focusing on resolving the nation’s issues.

In his own words, Regha stated,

“Peter Obi is currently in Ivory Coast to do what exactly? Travelling all the way to watch the Super Eagles while Nigeria is currently in crisis, including Anambra State.”

Public figures who should be at the stadium are entertainers and influencers, not politicians who should be fixing the nation. This is nothing but a PR move. Misplaced priorities.”
