Wish FM, 99: 5 and the Atlantic Television Network located in Ozuoba, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State were on Tuesday night attacked by gunmen. 

The Nation reported that the gunmen threw explosive devices suspected to dynamite into the facility after surrounding the station at about 8:40 pm. They also shot several times.

They also destroyed some equipment used by the two media outfits owned by a member of the House of Representatives, Chinyere Igwe.

Igwe who confirmed the incident said; 

 

“What I am happy about is that no life was lost.”
