Nollywood actor Charles Awurum has recently criticized Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, in videos circulating online. Awurum raised doubts about Obi’s identity, citing his efforts to change the status quo and challenge long-standing norms.

Awurum drew attention to past elections that had been rigged and the general acceptance of this practice among Nigerians. He commended Obi for attempting to challenge this established pattern and for disturbing the country’s judicial system.

The veteran actor specifically called out Obi and referred to him as “Peter Obi” for his efforts to upend the status quo. This has caused some controversy online, with some praising Awurum for speaking out against corruption and others criticizing him for attacking Obi without sufficient evidence

Last year, Charles Awurum disclosed what will happen to anyone that refused to vote in the 2023 elections.

The movie star had furiously beckoned all Nigerians to vote when the time comes, saying that anyone that refuses to vote will be visited with ”thunder and Gonorrhea” sent by God.

Speaking further the veteran actor said anyone that does not vote in 2023, will be punished by the devil, God, and everything in this life.

Also, Charles Awurum expressed his stand on fellow entertainers who are financially influenced to vote for incompetent candidates.
