During a press conference in Abuja, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), called on President Bola Tinubu to disclose his true identity.

Obi emphasized the need for Tinubu to reintroduce himself to the nation and the world to eliminate any further doubts and speculations.

Obi stated that only Tinubu himself, through a direct personal statement, can clear up the uncertainties surrounding his identity. He outlined the specific information that Tinubu should provide, including his name, nationality, place of birth, current age, details of the primary and secondary schools he attended with dates, the universities he attended, and the certificates he obtained. Additionally, Obi urged Tinubu to clarify if he had ever changed his name and provide details regarding the time and circumstances of any name change.

Obi emphasized that this task is simple and can be accomplished within a few minutes without the need for affidavits, prolonged processes, spokespersons, agents, or surrogates. He stressed that it is solely Tinubu’s responsibility to address these questions and put to rest the lingering doubts and speculations about his true identity.
