Alhaja Taiwo Nimotallahi Olatunbosun, the mother of Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, who holds the position of Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, has passed away.

It has also come to light that Chief Ademola Ojo, the Commissioner responsible for Trade, Investment, Industry, and Cooperatives, has faced the loss of his father, Pa Adewole Ojo.

Alhaja Taiwo Nimotallahi Olatunbosun, aged 80, breathed her last in the early hours of Wednesday. This news marks a somber event that has cast a shadow over the state’s governmental and administrative circles.

The loss of Alhaja Taiwo Nimotallahi Olatunbosun is undoubtedly a significant one, particularly for her son Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, who holds a prominent role as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Oyo State. The commissioner said, “After a fruitful and eventful life of Almighty Allah’s abundant mercies and grace, our mother, grandmother, Alhaja Taiwo Nimotallahi Olatunbosun, gloriously transited to eternity”. 

He further mentioned that his mother’s burial would take place in Ikirun, Osun State, at 4 pm on Wednesday, adhering to Islamic traditions.

In the meantime, it is worth noting that Pa Adewole Ojo passed away at the age of 92.

A close associate of the commissioner, in a short statement made available to Vistanaij Media said, “The State Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives, our friend and brother, Chief Ademola Ojo, has lost his father at the age of 92 years. 

“Pa Adewole Ojo’s passing was announced by the Commissioner in the early hours of today, Wednesday, August 9th.

“May the Almighty God be with the Commissioner, his siblings and all the family members left by the deceased”.
