Tinubu Prioritises Resolving Insecurity and Hardship in Nigeria – Gbajabiamila

Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, stated on Saturday that Tinubu’s primary concern is addressing the challenges of insecurity and economic hardship faced by Nigerians.

Gbajabiamila emphasized that the removal of fuel subsidy is a necessary step in Tinubu’s reforms, assuring that its benefits will soon become evident.

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote in the House of Representatives by-election at Polling Unit 014, Ward 08, in Surulere, Lagos State, the former lawmaker affirmed that the President’s main focus is on tackling insecurity and economic difficulties.

He stated, “Tinubu has his gaze fixed on solving the problems. He inherited a lot of issues, and we have been grappling with these challenges for years. But I believe we have someone who will address these issues effectively.”

Gbajabiamila vacated his seat at the House of Representatives after being appointed as Tinubu’s Chief of Staff. He previously served as the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2019 to 2023 and secured his re-election for the Surulere 1 federal constituency during the National Assembly election held on February 25, 2023.
