Student Loan Program Set to Commence in Three Weeks – Gbajabiamila

During the visit of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) delegation to the State House in Abuja, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President, provided further insights into the student loan scheme.

Gbajabiamila informed the delegation that the scheme, which aims to provide access to quality education for all Nigerian students regardless of their socioeconomic background, is nearing its launch.

Expressing President Tinubu’s unwavering determination to see the scheme through successfully, Gbajabiamila mentioned that the necessary preparations are being made to ensure a smooth implementation. He stated that the launch is expected to take place within the next two to three weeks, with the final details being meticulously addressed.

The student loan scheme, which was signed into law by President Tinubu in June of the previous year, has encountered delays in its commencement, but the government is now focused on overcoming these setbacks and initiating the program to benefit Nigerian students.
