Gbajabiamila Clarifies Rumors of Tinubu Appointing Him as Chief of Staff

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has addressed reports suggesting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed him as his Chief of Staff, aiming to clarify the situation.

According to the claims, Tinubu supposedly made the appointment during a meeting with security chiefs at the State House in Abuja. Femi Fani-Kayode, the Director of New Media for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Committee, even congratulated Gbajabiamila on Twitter.

However, when approached by journalists seeking confirmation of his appointment, Gbajabiamila neither confirmed nor denied the information. Instead, he advised the public to be patient regarding any official announcement, emphasizing that the system operates in its own way.

“Let the system follow its course,” he added, indicating that the situation would unfold in due time.
