Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is set for a scan on Wednesday after missing training.

Nwabali, who was substituted in the 80th minute during Nigeria’s victory over Cameroon, will undergo further tests to determine his availability for the upcoming match against Angola on Saturday.

Head coach Jose Peseiro expressed hope that Nwabali would be fit for the game, with a clearer picture expected after the scan on Wednesday. The clash against Angola is scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
