Speaker Gbajabiamila expresses sorrow over the passing of renowned Nigerian journalist Peter Pan

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has expressed his sorrow over the death of Peter Enahoro, a renowned Nigerian journalist who was popularly known as Peter Pan. In a statement issued by Mr Lanre Lasisi, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Gbajabiamila extended his condolences to the family of the deceased.

Gbajabiamila described Peter Pan as one of Nigeria’s finest journalists who used his voice to advocate for the betterment of the country. As a columnist, Peter Enahoro utilized his pen patriotically to draw attention to crucial issues in society, Gbajabiamila noted.

The Speaker offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the late writer, author, and publisher. He also prayed for strength and comfort for Peter Pan’s family in this difficult time.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported on Gbajabiamila’s heartfelt message regarding the passing of Peter Enahoro.
