Nigerian singer and musician, Seun Kuti, has addressed the trending video of him physically assaulting a policeman, stating that the incident happened at Third Mainland Bridge. While the cause of the altercation remains uncertain, the viral video has gained attention across various social media platforms.

In response, Seun Kuti took to his Instagram story, alleging that the policeman had attempted to kill him and his family. He asserted that he possesses evidence to support his claim but emphasized that he is not seeking attention. Furthermore, Seun Kuti revealed that the policeman has since apologized, and he has chosen not to pursue legal action.

In his words, “He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof, but I don’t engage in seeking attention. He has apologized, and I have agreed not to press charges. Let’s mind our own business, so the officer doesn’t lose his job.”
