Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has addressed the rumors surrounding the alleged divorce of her husband’s nephew and colleague, Yul Edochie, from his first wife, May Yul Edochie.

Recent reports have circulated claiming that the couple, who tragically lost their first son, Kambilichukwu, had ended their marriage. According to these reports, May was said to have obtained custody of their three remaining children and their house.

In response to these allegations, Yul Edochie has been publically showcasing his second wife and colleague, Judy Austin, leading some to speculate that he was intentionally taunting his first wife, May.

Rita Edochie shared a video featuring May Edochie and their deceased son, Kambili, in which she clarified that there had been no divorce between May and her husband. Rita urged fans and followers of the couple to dismiss the rumors and emphasized that May still holds onto her love for her husband and their shared history.

Rita Edochie hinted that May believed her husband to be under some sort of spell, which she hopes will soon be lifted. She mentioned that May will address the matters concerning her marriage and family once her mourning period is over.

Rita Edochie also took a dig at those spreading false news about May and Yul Edochie’s divorce, insinuating that they were either unmarried themselves or came from broken homes.

She wrote expressively on her Instagram page, “NO DIVORCE BETWEEN QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE AND HER HUSBAND YUL EDOCHIE.

MY GREAT PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, QUEEN MAY YUL EDOCHIE BELIEVES THAT ANY SPELL CASTED ON THE HUSBAND OF HER YOUTH WILL SURELY EXPIRE SOMEDAY.
SHE WILL SPEAK UP AFTER MOURNING HER LATE SON KAMBILI.
