Rita Edochie, a prominent Nollywood actress, proudly announced her adoption of May Edochie, her former daughter-in-law, as her own daughter, despite the separation between May and her nephew, Yul Edochie.

As many are aware, May Edochie and her husband, Yul, have parted ways due to his marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin, and the tragic loss of their son, Kambilichukwu.

Rita took to her Instagram page to express her commitment to protect May Edochie, likening herself to a nurturing mother hen. In response to those who insist she should leave May alone, Rita firmly asserted that May is now her daughter and she will never abandon her. She pledged to confront anyone who tries to suffocate May’s freedom.

With great pride, Rita emphasised her determination to confront any critic of May, vowing to respond firmly to any negative comments directed towards her.
