President Bola Tinubu has expressed his admiration for the Super Eagles of Nigeria for their determined performance in the final of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cote d’Ivoire.

Tinubu praised the team, the coach, the crew, and the entire management for their hard work, dedication, and sacrifices that brought them this far in the tournament. He acknowledged the obstacles they overcame with consistent improvement, leading them to the finals.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President encouraged Nigerians to stay positive, highlighting that “we have achieved a significant victory in the hearts of Africa and the world through our determination, perseverance, and commitment on the field.”

“Let this event not discourage us, but instead bring us together to strive harder. We are a great nation united under the banner of resilience, joy, hope, duty, and unwavering love represented by our green-white-green flag,” the President emphasized.
