President Buhari promotes CPSO and commends aides for their loyalty

President Muhammadu Buhari has praised his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO) and other security officers for their hard work in keeping him and his family safe. The CPSO, Aliyu Musa, was decorated with his new rank of Police Commissioner at a short event in the State House on Wednesday.

During the event, Buhari expressed his admiration for the officer’s loyalty, saying, “Serving me is very difficult.” He also commended the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, for promoting the erstwhile Deputy Commissioner of Police to the full rank of a Commissioner. The President stated that he was pleased with the officer’s record and charged him to always remember his training and exhibit sensitivity in his new position.

The President, assisted by the IGP and his spouse, Hajiya Maryam Ibrahim, decorated the new Police Commissioner at the event, which was witnessed by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Lucky Irabor, the officer’s family, and some of the President’s personal staff.

In response, the newly promoted officer expressed his gratitude to the President and the IGP for the promotion and assured the President of his total loyalty and commitment to duty. (NAN)
