Reno Omokri, a prominent socio-political activist, has offered his insights into the potential winners at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

According to Omokri, the outcome of this legal battle could result in either President Bola Tinubu or the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, emerging victorious.

However, in a separate note, Omokri also advised Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and his supporters to gracefully accept the results of the election, implying that they may not find success in their challenge at the tribunal.

Tweeting, Omokri wrote: “Either Waziri Atiku or President Bola Tinubu will smile today.

“As for Peter Obi and his Obidients, my counsel to all Nigerians and all those who have endured their cyberbullying, insults and threats, is to buy straws, cups and buckets, for you shall drink their tears in large quantities today!” 

This Wednesday, the tribunal is set to make its decision regarding the petitions lodged against Tinubu.

Both Obi and Atiku have brought forward challenges to contest Tinubu’s victory in the recent presidential election. The tribunal is presently in the process of deliberating on these petitions.
