PDP Chieftain Highlights Tinubu’s Struggle and Appeals for Assistance Amid Hardship

Kola Ologbondiyan, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former National Publicity Secretary, has expressed his concern over President Bola Tinubu’s overwhelmed administration, stating that assistance is needed to address the current challenges.

During an interview on Arise TV, Ologbondiyan emphasized the importance of Tinubu seeking help from capable Nigerians to navigate the difficult circumstances and turn the tide.

Ologbondiyan stated, “Tinubu’s government is overwhelmed. It needs help. In the past, when the country faced similar situations, the leadership sought out Nigerians with the ability, capacity, and knowledge to make a difference.”

He further emphasized that it is crucial not to claim to possess all the answers and knowledge, but to actively seek expertise and solutions to prevent the country from descending into crisis. Ologbondiyan expressed concern over the growing social media mockery of the President’s policies within just eight months of his administration.

Ologbondiyan also criticized Tinubu’s government for attributing the protests against economic hardship in the country to opposition influence. He argued that such claims are dishonest and mentioned that Nigerians are expressing their frustration independently. Hunger, he pointed out, cannot be sponsored, as its impact is felt by individuals without external manipulation.
