Nigerians Confront Economic and Security Challenges, Says Tinubu

During an Iftar event held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu expressed his recognition of the security and economic challenges currently faced by Nigerians. However, he reassured the attendees that these challenges would not overcome the resilience of the Nigerian people.

President Tinubu praised the efforts of the Armed Forces and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding Nigeria’s sovereignty. He emphasized the need to protect the integrity and value of the armed forces while addressing the security issues plaguing the nation.

Regarding the economic challenges, President Tinubu expressed optimism about turning the corner and improving the nation’s revenue. He highlighted the positive signs reflected in various states’ economies and stressed the importance of effective management.

Assuring the audience, President Tinubu stated, “There is light at the end of the tunnel, and Nigeria will smile again.” He acknowledged the hardships faced by the people and promised to work towards a better future, where prosperity would be shared by all. He used the metaphor of adding butter to bread, implying an improvement in the quality of life for Nigerians.

President Tinubu emphasized the need to overcome the security challenges and rescue the country, expressing his belief that through determination and freedom, prosperity could be achieved.
