Nigerians Endure Hardship as Primate Ayodele Accuses Shettima and Akpabio of Misleading Tinubu

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised President Bola Tinubu to disregard Vice President Kashim Shettima and Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s assertions that the recent protests against hardship were sponsored.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that Nigerians are genuinely suffering, leading them to take to the streets to voice their grievances.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele criticized Shettima and Akpabio for their lack of empathy towards Nigerians and for trivializing their concerns as mere political maneuvers. He stressed the urgency of taking immediate action to address the country’s difficulties and highlighted the government’s responsibility to cater to the needs of its citizens.

“The country is in dire need of prompt action, otherwise, Nigeria will continue to face hardships. Tinubu should not be swayed by those who deceive him. People are in pain, and there is no sponsorship behind the protests,” stated Primate Ayodele.

He further expressed that the citizens are frustrated and feeling the impact of the struggling economy. Primate Ayodele urged Tinubu to disregard irrelevant discussions and focus on the current situation, as everything appears to be in disarray.

“Tinubu should take action before it becomes too late. Akpabio’s remarks about the protests are unwise and insensitive. Shettima and Akpabio’s claims of sponsorship are out of character. Nobody is funding these protests; rather, they stem from the hunger and difficulties that God foresaw in your government. Nigeria does not deserve such irrelevant statements at this time. Instead of blaming others, your government should get to work,” added Primate Ayodele.
