Grace Makun, the spouse of renowned fashion designer Yomi Casual, has offered guidance to May Edochie, the separated wife of Yul Edochie, advising her to relinquish her husband’s surname.

According to a recent report by Vistanaij Media, May expressed her emotions regarding the transition from 2023 to the new year, 2024, in a social media post. She shared how the previous year had been a difficult journey for her, describing it as a series of disastrous events that left her feeling sorrowful.

May discussed the hardships and misfortunes she encountered in 2023, acknowledging that the most devastating blow was the tragic loss of her own child. Despite grappling with despair, she admitted that she nearly lost hope but drew strength from her faith and learned not to question God’s intentions.

Her recent statement contrasts with her ex-husband Yul Edochie’s speech about 2023, in which he expressed that it had been his most successful year yet, filled with accomplishments and divine favor.

Yul’s optimistic outlook on 2023 raised eyebrows, especially considering the shared tragedy of losing a child with May. People were puzzled by his gratitude and joy for the year.

In response, Grace, known as Fabjewels on social media, took to the comment section and advised May to remove the actor’s surname. She encouraged the mother of three to remove his name from her Instagram page, embrace her own identity, and thrive in it.
