“I did it for clout” – Agozi Samuel publicly apologizes to Ayo Makun

Agozi Samuel, a Nigerian social media user who previously made serious accusations against comedian and actor Ayo Makun, has publicly apologized to him.

According to a report by Vistanaij Media, Samuel had used his Facebook page to claim that Ayo Makun was involved in an affair with May Edochie, which supposedly led to the end of her marriage to Yul. Samuel had vowed to bring down Ayo Makun and exposed his alleged plans to marry May Edochie.

In response to these allegations, Ayo Makun filed a petition with the police against Samuel for his defamatory statements, which he believed had harmed his reputation built over more than a decade.

Captioning a now-deleted post, Ayo Makun expressed his exhaustion with the continuous spread of lies.

In a video circulating online, Agozi Samuel has now publicly apologized to Ayo Makun for defaming his character. Samuel retracted his previous statements, stating that Ayo Makun is the father of his second daughter and that he has no intimate relationship with May Edochie, the estranged wife of Yul Edochie.

Samuel blamed his actions on the economic situation, stating that he did it for attention and to make ends meet for himself.
