Grace Jimoh, an aspiring actress in Nollywood, has strongly criticised her child’s father, filmmaker Yomi Fabiyi, for referring to their son as a mistake while discussing the high cost of living in the country.

In a recent statement, Yomi Fabiyi caused a stir on the internet by claiming that his beloved son, Akorede, was an unintended consequence resulting from the poor quality of imported condoms in Nigeria. He expressed frustration over the impact of substandard condoms, leading to unplanned pregnancies and contributing to the financial burdens faced by Nigerians. He placed blame on the customs authorities for allowing the importation of inferior condoms, which he believed was a major factor in the country’s misfortunes.

Yomi Fabiyi further argued that since his son Akorede was a product of failed family planning, the government should bear the responsibility for his upbringing.

In response to these remarks, Grace Jimoh took to her Instagram account and strongly rebuked Yomi Fabiyi for disrespecting their son, asserting that his statement regarding their child’s birth was false. She emphasized that her baby daddy was overjoyed when she informed him of her pregnancy. Grace accused Yomi Fabiyi of attempting to make her feel guilty and also made a pointed remark about his alleged loss of custody of his first child, suggesting that he lacked the qualities necessary to be a responsible father.

He is now a product of torn condom?? Anything for social media validation, or to make me feel bad ? Taaa I owe my child the best of life even death, I will do anything in this world to make him happy don’t worry , I will help you out, it’s just a matter of time, I now see the main reason they ran away with your first child it really worth it, you are not worthy to be called a FATHER.”
