Governor Ugwuanyi felicitates with Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, emphasizes importance of peace, love, and unity

As Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan, Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has called on Nigerians to view the celebration as a morale booster in the nation’s pursuit of peace, unity, and progress.

Gov. Ugwuanyi conveyed this message in his Sallah address on Friday in Enugu, where he congratulated Muslim faithfuls on the successful completion of Ramadan. He emphasized that the benefits derived from the spiritual rejuvenation offered by the fast are vast and compelling.

The governor further stressed the importance of prayer and peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, urging them to cherish and love one another as fellow citizens of one nation under God, bound by freedom, peace, and unity.
