Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has submitted the names of seven individuals as nominees for the position of commissioners to the state House of Assembly.

The list was officially sent to the Assembly on Wednesday, as confirmed by a reliable source within the legislative body. Among the nominees, six of them are former commissioners, while one individual is new to the role.

The list consists of five male nominees and two female nominees, reflecting a gender balance in the selection. The commissioner-nominees are Mr. Adeniyi Adebisi, Mr. Akinola Ojo, Prof. Musibau Babatunde, Professor Daud Sangodoyin, Mr. Seun Ashamu, Alhaja Fausat Joke Sanni, and Mrs. Toyin Balogun, who is the only new addition to the list.

According to the source, the list was formally forwarded to the Assembly on Wednesday, marking the beginning of the confirmation process for the commissioner-nominees.
