The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, popularly known as EFCC, has issued a production warrant to Naira Marley following a court order.

There have been significant developments in the Mohbad’s death case, capturing widespread public attention. Recently, Vistanaij Media reported that the police have identified a main suspect in this perplexing case. This individual is an auxiliary nurse who allegedly administered a series of injections to Mohbad shortly before his tragic demise.

It is worth noting that the police had previously been speculating about another person named Prime Boy. Prime Boy, a close friend and confidant of Mohbad, was declared a wanted man just two days ago since he was the last person seen with Mohbad before his untimely death. However, Prime Boy voluntarily surrendered to the authorities yesterday.

Initially, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were considered the primary suspects, but recent revelations have shifted the focus away from them. However, a new development has brought Naira Marley back into the public spotlight. Shockingly, Naira Marley now faces 11 charges related to internet fraud.

Furthermore, the police have stated that while Naira Marley may not have played a direct role in Mohbad’s death, it has emerged that he subjected him to bullying and threats while he was alive.

“Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, October 5, 2023, issued a production warrant against Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley.

Naira Marley is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,

EFCC, on 11-count charges bordering on conspiracy and credit card fraud.

At the resumed sitting on Friday, counsel to the defendant, Olalekan Ojo, SAN informed the court that the defendant was unavoidably absent from court owing to his being detained by the Police for interrogation in respect of the murder of llerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Ojo, therefore, prayed the court for an adiournment of the trial.”
