Very Dark Man Claims Knowledge of Yahaya Bello’s Whereabouts Amid EFCC Manhunt

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello is currently wanted by the EFCC and remains elusive.

Very Dark Man claims to know Bello’s whereabouts. In a recent video, he criticised the EFCC for allegedly being unable to locate Bello, despite accusations of embezzling billions. Very Dark Man contrasted this with the EFCC’s efficiency in tracking down and arresting internet fraudsters for much smaller amounts.

He expressed disbelief at the EFCC’s apparent difficulty in finding Bello, suggesting the stolen funds could have significantly benefited Kogi State, one of Nigeria’s poorest states.

Very Dark Man warned Nigerians not to get their hopes up about Bello’s manhunt, as he could potentially secure bail with a relatively modest fine of fifty million Naira. He cited a similar case involving former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, who allegedly faced charges but was granted bail with a fifty-million Naira fine.

According to Very Dark Man, obtaining bail doesn’t conclude a case, but given Nigeria’s weak justice system, it often seems that way. He contrasted this with China, where a politician was reportedly executed for embezzling over forty million dollars.

The activist also claimed that the EFCC had surrounded his Abuja residence, suggesting they know Bello’s location but might be wary of a military confrontation.

Regarding youth leadership, Very Dark Man expressed disappointment in Bello’s tenure as Governor. He criticised Nigerian youth’s eagerness for leadership roles, claiming some are motivated by a desire to embezzle funds more discreetly.
