Chinedu Ikedieze, a renowned actor in Nollywood, popularly known as Aki, has shed light on his choice to maintain privacy around his family.

In a conversation with prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo, the 45-year-old actor revealed that he consciously avoids featuring his wife and children on social media. His intention behind this decision is to grant them a sense of “freedom” and shield them from the public spotlight.

“I have children but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.

“So, I hide them even my wife apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ardour.”

It is important to note that Chinedu Ikedieze entered into matrimony with his beloved wife, Nneoma Nwaijah, in 2011. Despite the couple’s joy in welcoming children, the actor has made a deliberate decision to keep the specific details about his family private.
