Buhari eagerly anticipates returning home – Celebrates final Sallah in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his eagerness to leave the Aso Presidential Villa and return to his hometown in Daura, Katsina state during his final Sallah celebration. Having had the opportunity to serve Nigeria in different capacities, Buhari considers himself fortunate.

Moreover, Buhari took the time to appreciate the people of Abuja for their tolerance during his seven and a half years as the President of Nigeria. He expressed his gratitude for their patience and understanding, acknowledging that leading a country is no easy task.

I can’t wait to go home. I deliberately arranged to be as far away as possible from you people,” he said.

“I have got what I have asked and will quietly retire to my home town in Daura.”
