The mortal remains of Herbert Wigwe, former Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank, along with those of his wife and son, have been brought back to Nigeria.

The bodies of the Wigwe family arrived at the Port Harcourt International Airport from the United States on Friday.

The funeral service for the trio will take place on Saturday in Isiokpo, Herbert Wigwe’s hometown, located in Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State.

Herbert Wigwe, his wife, their son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash at the border of Nevada and California in the US last month.

Since their untimely passing, heartfelt tributes have been pouring in for Herbert Wigwe, as sympathizers fondly recall his impactful deeds during his lifetime.
