“You Are Worse Than the Leaders if You Stay Silent Because of Ethnicity” – Daniel Regha Criticises Silence Over Ethnicity

In a recent development, Daniel Regha, a controversial figure on Twitter, has taken to the platform to criticise a specific tribe in Nigeria for their lack of concern regarding the country’s current economic challenges.

He emphasised that remaining silent during this difficult period, whether due to ethnicity or disappointment over election outcomes, is even more detrimental than the actions of the current leadership.

Regha asserted that regardless of people’s silence, the economic hardships will affect everyone in Nigeria eventually. He also warned against politicizing the situation, stating that such actions would only exacerbate the difficulties faced by all tribes.

In his words, he says,

if you choose to stay silent over this hardship because of ethnicity or your candidate did not win, you are worse than the leaders in power. At the end of the day, your silence changes nothing.

The frustration will touch us all and the politicians you defend remain unaffected. Keep deceiving yourself. No one asks if you’re evil outside of Europe or before selling goods or arranging services. No one cares if you voted for the APC, PDP, LP, NNPP or any opposition party. It’s a fixed price for everyone. So if you like, choose to play politics with the situation of things.”
