Jugba, a well-known Twitter user, recently recounted an incident involving a prominent Nollywood actress and producer, strongly believed to be Toyin Abraham.

According to Jugba, the actress entered a cinema lobby and inquired who among the audience was there to watch her movie. Surprisingly, only one person stood up. The actress then delivered a message, urging attendees to maintain the same level of enthusiasm when it comes to taking pictures with her at events.

The incident, shared on Twitter, sparked speculation that it involved Toyin Abraham, as she had been actively promoting her recent film, “Malaika.”

The sparsely attended screening prompted discussions about her previous political involvement during the electoral process. Many commenters drew connections between her political choices and the apparent lack of audience for her film.

However, some cinema-goers who were present at the screening refuted the claims made on Twitter. They pointed out that the movie tickets for “Malaika” had sold out, indicating that the Twitter statement was false and likely propagated by individuals with ulterior motives.

Interestingly, just a few hours ago, Toyin Abraham took to her Instagram to announce that her movie, “Malaika,” had generated over 104.3 million Naira in revenue. This starkly contrasts with the Twitter user’s suggestion that her movie tickets were not selling well.
