Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has taken the opportunity to write an open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his inauguration as the President of the country.

In the heartfelt letter, Toyin, the wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi, expressed the reasons behind her support for Tinubu’s candidacy, despite facing significant criticism and backlash for her stance.

She emphasized that her support for Tinubu is not based on ethnicity or religion but rather on the positive impact he has made as a senator and governor. Toyin firmly believes that Tinubu has the potential to excel even further as the President of Nigeria.

Understanding that it is impossible for any leader to have universal support, Toyin acknowledged that Tinubu’s victory indicates that he is the choice of the majority.

Toyin also addressed the false narrative that she had been heavily paid to support Tinubu, clarifying that her endorsement of him is entirely of her own accord.

As a concerned citizen, the mother of one urged President Tinubu to listen attentively to the concerns of the people, address their fears about the future, and work towards restoring hope among the citizens.
