Tonto Dikeh, a prominent Nollywood actress and philanthropist, has expressed her support for her fellow actress and friend, Iyabo Ojo, who is currently facing a N500 million lawsuit from singer Naira Marley.

Last week, it was reported by Vistanaij Media that Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola, had taken legal action against Iyabo Ojo, demanding a public apology or potentially facing legal proceedings with damages amounting to N500 million.

Naira Marley accused the actress and mother of two of defaming him, alleging that she had published false and malicious content about him on her Instagram page.

In response, Iyabo Ojo filed a counterclaim of N1 billion, highlighting that the singer and his lawyer had not taken the initiative to serve her the lawsuit privately but instead made it public online. She deemed this action as blackmail and is seeking N1 billion in damages from the singer for intentionally misleading the public.

To show her solidarity, Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page, affirming that they started their careers together and would support each other until the end.
