Nigerian actress Susan Peters and media personality Daddy Freeze are the first celebrities to express their joy for singer Davido and his wife Chioma on the birth of their twins.

The news of Davido and Chioma welcoming another child, said to be twins, has been widely circulated.

Davido added fuel to the speculation by hinting in one of his songs on his album “Timeless” that his wife would become ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins).

In a song titled “In The Garden,” featuring Morravey, Davido’s lyrics included the line, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji.”

The singer also tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week of his life.

His brother, Adewale Adeleke, further fueled the rumors by expressing gratitude to God on Twitter.

Daddy Freeze and Susan Peters have now taken to Instagram to celebrate with the couple.

Daddy Freeze wrote, “Congratulations to Davido as his wife gives birth.”

Susan Peters, referring to them as ‘Papa and Mama Ejima’ (father and mother of twins), rejoiced with the couple while acknowledging how God gave them double blessings for their pain.

“Congratulations 001 and 002. @davido and @thechefchi happy for you both. GOD gave you double. Papa and Mama Ejima”.
