Sulaiman Buchu, a well-known author and divisive media figure, recently opened up about his battle with depression on social media.

Sharing his experience, Buchu disclosed that due to his ongoing fast, he had been unable to take his prescribed antidepressants, which play a crucial role in managing his clinical depression.

He further conveyed that since discontinuing his antidepressant medication, he had noticed a shift in his mood. Overwhelmed by his struggles, he earnestly cried out to God for assistance, imploring for deliverance from the grips of depression.

“Haven’t been taking my antidepressants since fasting started. Been noticing crazy mood swings, but I had to get back on track with it. I just want God to heal me of this thing!”
