According to Buchi, he initially connected with his wife over the phone in March 2022. He enthusiastically shared that they engaged in lengthy conversations on the night they first spoke. Just one week after their initial encounter, Buchi expressed his fondness for her and his desire to pursue a marital relationship. Their dating journey commenced in June 2022, precisely three months after they first connected. Finally, exactly one year from the commencement of their dating phase, he proposed to her.
