Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked a buzz on the internet as he celebrates his first year as a royal chief.

The singer, who was bestowed with a chieftaincy title last year, commemorated his anniversary as the Amuludun of Tigbo-Ilu Land in Ota. Videos circulating online captured Portable and his stunning wife, Bewaji, dressed in matching traditional outfits adorned with crown-like capes as they made their way to Ota, located in Ogun State.

Bewaji clung tightly to her husband as they entered the venue, where they were warmly welcomed by local kings. Another video showcased the couple joyfully dancing to the tunes of Fuji singer Taye Currency, while the people of Ota gathered around, hoping to receive monetary gifts from the generous singer.

In his social media post sharing the video, Portable expressed, “Happy one-year anniversary Akoi Amuludun Of Tigbo Sango Ota Awori Land set Awon loba loba Ogundabede Kings. Doings Alongside Baba Oba.”
