Primate Ayodele Advises Fubara to Focus on His Work and Leave Rivers Crisis to God

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State to focus on his responsibilities and leave the matter concerning Minister Nyesom Wike of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the hands of God.

Primate Ayodele’s comment comes in response to the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State, which has led to a division between the camps of Wike and Governor Fubara.

He counseled Governor Fubara against engaging in a futile battle with the FCT minister, emphasizing that it would only be a waste of time.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman advised the governor to dedicate his attention to the welfare of the people of Rivers State, as God Himself would contend with Wike.

The prophet remarked that Governor Fubara would encounter failure if he attempted to fight Wike, as it was not his battle to fight. He encouraged the governor to allow God to fight on his behalf, pointing out that the former governor was facing the consequences of his own actions.

Primate Ayodele stated, “Fubara should humble himself and fulfill his promises to God. He should not engage in a conflict with Wike but rather leave him be. His focus should be on his people and developmental projects.”

He added, “God intends to punish Wike for his wickedness. If Fubara attempts to fight Wike, he will fail. Let Wike continue his own battles, as God will fight on your behalf.”
