PEPT: Primate Ayodele Urges Nigerians to Pray for Judges Amid Allegations of External Influence

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a call for the people of Nigeria to offer their prayers in support of the judges who preside over the President Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

He anticipates that certain external forces will attempt to sway the judgments of these judges and therefore urges for divine intervention to safeguard the integrity of their decisions.

Expressing his concerns, Primate Ayodele emphasized that if these efforts to influence the judges’ decisions were to succeed, the nation could find itself embroiled in a significant crisis, which would inevitably lead to the suffering of its citizens.

The prophet issued a cautionary message, stating that any judge who allows themselves to become an instrument of injustice should anticipate facing the repercussions of their actions. This call to uphold justice was communicated through a statement authored by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.

Ayodele underlined the paramount importance of divine guidance for these judges to make just and equitable decisions. He asserted that their decisions must remain fortified against external influence, as the consequences will be dire if they waver from the path of justice.

Nigerians need to pray for judges at the presidential election petition tribunal. I see powers trying to influence them from doing the right thing.

“They are doing it already and if these powers succeed, it may lead the country into a huge crisis.

“This is not about the country alone, even any judge that allows him or herself to become a weapon for injustice will face the consequence. Nigeria is in pain and any judge who supports any kangaroo judgment will be in permanent pain, anguish and agony.

“The judges need God’s divine intervention to do the right thing. Our judges need to be fortified, they need cleansing, and they need the spirit of God at this moment.”

Primate Ayodele affirmed that the judgment will either propel Nigeria towards progress or result in a setback for the nation.

He maintained that should the verdict fail to mirror justice, the people of Nigeria will invoke curses upon the judges.

The tribunal will either make Nigeria move forward or bring a setback to Nigeria. The thing is if the judgment doesn’t go in the direction of Justice, they will rain curses on judges. The curse will come in different dimensions. The judges should be sincere in their judgment for their sake and that of their families. They should do what is needful in order to help Nigeria and make the country better. We need a judgment that will rebrand Nigeria’’
