In a recent update, Omawunmi, Mohbad’s wife, responded to reports suggesting a court had ordered her to undergo a DNA test.

She stated that she has not yet received any court order. Speaking on her behalf, her lawyer, Taiwo Olawande, confirmed she was unaware of any such order. Olawande had this to say;

“We do not have the court’s order. If we do have an order, we will advise her to adhere to it. That is not a problem, but we are not aware of any order.”

Earlier yesterday, Vistanaij Media reported that a court had ordered Mohbad to undergo a DNA test. The magistrate court, located in the I area of Lagos, allegedly issued the order for the singer’s late wife to undergo the test promptly. This action was purportedly initiated by Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba.

The statement further indicated that the legal team had made two attempts to serve Omawunmi with the court’s documents, but the process was unsuccessful.
