Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has made his appearance in court for the continuation of his terrorism trial.

On Monday morning, Kanu was brought to court by the Department of State Services (DSS).

In December 2023, the Supreme Court ruled to return Kanu’s case to the Federal High Court to proceed with the prosecution. This decision overturned the verdict of the Appeal Court, which had previously acquitted Kanu of all terrorism charges.
