Social media users have criticised Yoruba actors for their lack of support towards their fellow actor, Osoba Temitope.

Just hours ago, Biola Bayo announced Osoba Temitope’s return to the film industry after a long hiatus. Biola took to her Instagram page, appealing to movie directors, producers, and production managers to send her scripts as she is fully back on her feet. She requested them to consider her for roles and provide their support.

However, as of the time of reporting, only two actors, Toyin Alausa and Adekemi Taofeek, have commented on Biola’s post. This prompted a fan of Biola Bayo to express disappointment, highlighting how celebrities would have flooded the comment section with insincere support if it were a post about someone’s death.

The lady identified as Gorgeous Princess wrote, “No celebrity commented ooo but if to say she die ni, fake love go plenty”.

Many others agreed, emphasising their intention to repost and verify accounts to expose such disingenuous behaviour.
