A video circulating on social media shows Davido enthusiastically embracing Memphis, loudly stating that he has never received gifts from people and is usually the one giving gifts.

However, netizens found this claim strange, pointing out several instances where Davido publicly received gifts from Nigerians. One Twitter user named KennyTheGoat hinted at Davido’s ingratitude, mentioning that netizens had donated money for a birthday video, yet Davido was now saying he had never received gifts.

KennyTheGoat’s comment reads,
