Mr Ibu’s Daughter, Jasmine Okafor, Sends Message to Online Critics as She Moves on After N55m Scam
Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has addressed social media critics.
Last week, Jasmine and one of Mr Ibu’s sons, Daniel Onyeabuchi, were arrested by the Nigerian police for allegedly defrauding the actor of N55 million.
The investigation revealed incriminating WhatsApp messages between Jasmine and Daniel, outlining their collaboration and criminal plans. It was also revealed that they had a fake marriage at the Ikoyi Magistrate Registry, intending to flee to the UK with their ill-gotten gains.
In response to the news, Jasmine sarcastically commented on a blog that the reported figures were incorrect, claiming that she actually stole 1 billion and was currently in Kiri Kiri prison.
Recently, on her Instagram page, Jasmine announced that the comment section was open for social media judges and magistrates to share their opinions.
“Dear Social media judges are magistrates, comment section is open for you as usual…..”.
